What to expect
Spend the day discovering what your future at TRU could look like. Meet faculty, staff and current students, explore programs and student services, tour campus and residence, and engage in hands-on activities. Plus, apply to TRU for free during Open House for a chance to win a semester of free tuition.
9:30 a.m. — Check-in and treats
Check in at the Open House Headquarters and grab a free treat before heading into the Resource Fair.
9:50 a.m. — Morning welcome
Open House is meant to be informative, but also fun. What better way to start the day than with music, TRU merch and good company.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Resource Fair
Connect with TRU faculties, programs, departments and student services in the Campus Activity Centre.
Apply at the application station with the fee waived for a chance to win a semester of free tuition. Award conditions apply.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Open House experiences
Curious about a specific TRU program? Want a chance to explore buildings and learning spaces? Faculty will be running interactive activities across campus. There’s an experience for everyone!
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Fun Zone
Stop by to find activities for all ages. Grab some cotton candy, see Uncle Chris the Clown, and more!
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Campus and residence tours
Explore our beautiful campus on a guided tour led by a current TRU student. Then drop by North Tower, East Village or Coyote Den for a residence tour every 15 minutes.
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Open House eats
Enjoy a complimentary gourmet hot dog prepared by TRU Culinary Arts faculty and students.
Check in at Open House Headquarters to receive your lunch ticket.
2 p.m. — Grand prize draws
Stay for the Open House passport prize draw and the tuition grand prize draw.
5:30 p.m. — WolfPack men’s soccer game
Cheer on the men’s soccer team at Hillside Stadium, right next to campus! The first 500 attendees checked in at Open House will receive a free ticket to the game. Be sure to check in at Open House Headquarters and grab your ticket.

Directions and parking
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. on the TRU Kamloops campus. Open House activities and the Resource Fair begin at 10 a.m.
Parking is free on campus. Watch for directional signs and volunteers when you arrive. Please avoid reserved parking spaces.
